Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sessions Trial Case No. 450 of 2024 arising out of Gurabanda P.S. Case No. 03 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 47 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 376 and 448 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatsila. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 3870 of 2024 by order dated 16.05.2024. 4. Petitioner is alleged to have raped the prosecutrix by entering into her house. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 02.02.2024 and only one witness has been examined in this case. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
