As per terms of the joint memo, the matter is settled for Rs.5,50,000/- (rupees Five Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) including the amount of Rs.5,00,000/- (rupees Five Lakhs only) in deposit, deposited by the petitioner before the trial Court. The petitioner has agreed to pay balance amount of Rs.50,000/- (rupees Fifty Thousand only) to the respondent within two months from this day i.e., on or before 18.09.2025 without fail. The respondent – complainant has agreed to receive the said balance amount within two months from this day. 5. In view of settlement, the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 is compounded. In view of compounding of the offence, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of as the offence is compounded. 6.
