ORAL JUDGMENT
(PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL)
This writ petition (Habeas Corpus) is filed seeking the following reliefs;
"1. Issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing Respondent No.4 and other Respondents to forthwith produce the detenue, Chethan D., before this Hon'ble Court and to release him from illegal custody:
2. Grant interim stay on any further coercive action against the Petitioner or the family pending disposal of this petition;
3. Pass such other order (s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

Learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the Jigani Police have illegally detained the detenue on 26.10.2025 at around 2:00 pm. Based on such assertion, notice was ordered.
3. Learned State Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has filed an affidavit of Sub Inspector of Jigani Police along with copy of FIR registered in Crime No.171/2025. It is submitted that in relating to the said crime, two notices were issued to the detenue on 24.10.2025 and 26.10.2025.

However, he could not respond to the notices, hence, he was arrested on 28.10.2025 and the grounds of arrest were served on him. He acknowledged receipt of the same.
4. In view of the aforesaid affidavit and the submission, we do not find any illegal detention. Accordingly, writ petition (Habeas Corpus) is dismissed.
