This is an application for condonation of delay of 862 days in filing the Appeal against the Judgment and Order dated 26.10.2022 passed by the Special Judge (POCSO), Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh in Special POCSO Case No. 29 of 2015, whereby the applicant has been convicted, and sentenced to undergo 10(ten) years of rigorous imprisonment accompanied with a fine. 2. We have perused the application for condonation and are satisfied that sufficient cause has been made out in explaining the delay. 3. Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG assisted by Mr. E.R. Chyne, learned GA for the respondent also has no objection to the condonation, as prayed. 4. Accordingly, the prayer is allowed and the delay of 862 days, is condoned.
