The following prayers have been made in the instant writ petition:- " (i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent police authority to take cognizance on the application of the petitioner and take legal and necessary action against the respondent No.4 namely, Pankaj Shukla in accordance with law. (ii). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 21.04.2025 within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. " 2. The case of the petitioner is that the cheque issued to him by the respondent No.4 has bounced. 3. In our considered opinion for redressal of the said grievance, the instant petition would not be maintainable and it is accordingly, dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy under law.
