06.01.2025 None appears for the petitioner on call. However, Mr. RK Talukdar, learned
Page No.# 3/3 counsel for the respondent No. 3 is present. It is submitted by Mr. J Chutia, learned standing counsel for the KAAC that pursuant to this court’s order dated 05.12.2024, the petitioner did not appear before the competent authority for receiving land acquisition, however, an application was filed that due to his illness he could not appear. Be that as it may, as a stand has been taken by the KAAC that as and when the petitioner appears, on being identified, they will transfer the land acquisition compensation to his account, this court is of the view that nothing survives to be adjudicated in this matter. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed.
