The petitioner's engagement as Para Legal Volunteer was cancelled by District Legal Service Authority, Farrukhabad on the ground that he is an accused in Case Crime No. 0060 of 2018, State vs. Ram Kumar, under Sections 323, 325, 504, 427 IPC and Case Crime No. 163 of 2017, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323/149, 307/149, 452, 504, 506 IPC and, therefore, it was against the NALSA guidelines. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that the petitioner was accused in the above two cases. 3. The engagement as Para Legal Volunteer is on honorarium basis and it is not a 'service' under any organization as is sought to be submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.
