NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioners have prayed the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondents to consider their representation filed by the petitioners dated 23.09.2024 as per Annexure-E and E1 respectively for grant of pension and pensionary benefits to the petitioners in accordance with the Karnataka Civil Service Rules from the date of retirement of the petitioners which has been extended to similarly situated retired employees as per G.O. dated 18.07.2018 and 11.02.2021 as per Annexure-C and D respectively. b) To grant such other suitable reliefs as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case. 2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as a helper in respondent No.2 Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited. Thereafter, his services has been absorbed in respondent No.2. The petitioner attained superannuation on 31.07.2012. Thereafter, he has submitted - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:29594 WP No. 30246 of 2024 representations vide Annexures-E and E1 for payment of retirement benefits. Since the representations are not considered, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. The learned Additional Government Advocate and the learned counsel for respondent No.2 has submitted that the representations submitted by the petitioner will be considered in terms of the Government Order dated 18.07.2018, if this Court grants some reasonable time. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of. The respondents are directed to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner vide Annexures-E and E1, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
