The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner for grant of firearm license. 2.Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, instruction dated 28.07.2025 under the signature of District Magistrate, Kasganj has placed by learned Standing counsel. The same is taken on record. 3. It is argued by Sri Kartikey Saran, learned Additional Advocate General, State of U.P. and Sri Vijay Shankar Prasad, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel that the application of the petitioner has already been rejected by the authority on 21.06.2023. 4. Copy of the aforesaid instructions has provided to the counsel for the petitioner. 5. After going through the aforesaid, it is very fairy argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the present petition has become infructuous. 6.
