This writ petition has been filed interalia for the following relief:- "i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to decide the departmental appeal pending before the respondent no.2 since 15.08.2024 within certain time frame as this Hon'ble Court." At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that departmental appeal of the petitioner dated 15.08.2024, which is pending before the respondent no.2, may be decided within stipulated period of time. Considering the facts of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3, District Basic Education Board, U.P. Prayagraj to decide the appeal of the petitioner dated 15.08.2024 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
