GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondents, more particularly, 3rd Respondent in not providing the 2 plus 2 Security to the Petitioner as being illegal, arbitrary, and in violation of G.O.Rt.No.655, Home 2 (SC-B) Dept. dated 13.03.1997 and consequently direct the Respondents herein to provide 2 plus 2 Gunmen as Security to the Petitioner herein.” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri N.Ashwani Kumar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that no further orders are required in this matter as the relief sought in this petition has become infructuous. 3.
