JUSTICE H.P.SANDESH ORAL JUDGMENT Both the appellant and the respondent and their respective learned counsel are present before the Court. Both the parties have filed the compromise petition under Section 23 Rule 3 read with Section 151 of CPC. In terms of the compromise, the respondent has paid an amount of Rs.50,000/- by way of demand draft to the appellant before this Court and the same is acknowledged by the appellant. The respondent has agreed to pay the balance amount of Rs.2,50,000/- to the appellant on or before 18.01.2026. The respondent further agrees that, if he fails to pay the balance amount within the stipulated time, he shall pay double the amount within three months from today.
