NITIN B. SURYAWANSHI & VAISHALI PATIL – JADHAV, JJ. DATE :
NOVEMBER 21, 2025 P E R C O U R T :
1. This review application is filed contending that respondent No. 1 has not completed five years of service in selection grade as a Lecturer before his retirement and, therefore, he is not entitled for his pay fixed at minimum of Rs. 14,940/-.
2. On hearing the learned AGP for the applicant and learned advocate for respondent No. 2, and on perusal of the order under review, we are of the view that the present review is misconceived and no ground is made out to review the order. komal kamble 1/2 2025:BHC-AUG:33236-DB
973 REVIEW APPLICATION (CIVIL) NO. 209 OF 2018
3. In the directions issued by this Court, in paragraph 6 of the
order under review, it is specifically observed that “we direct the respondents to fix petitioner’s pay at minimum of Rs. 14,940/- as on 01.01.1996 in the event he has completed 5 years of service in selection grade as a Lecturer before his retirement.” The direction issued to the applicant is clear that if respondent No. 1 has completed five years of service in selection grade as a Lecturer before his retirement, then only pay has to be fixed at minimum of Rs. 14,940/- as on 01.01.1996.
4. Since the above direction is clear, we do not see any reason to review the order as sought by the applicant. The review application being meritless, is dismissed.
