PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1645 of 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioners herein/A2, A4 & A5, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.113 of 2024 of Krishnadevi Peta Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the NDPS, Act. 2. Brief facts of the case are that, on 04.10.2024, at about 8.00 hours, on receipt of credible information, the SI of Police, Krishnadevi Peta Police Station along with his staff and mediators rushed to the A.L.Puram Village, Alluri Park, Golugonda Mandal and conducted vehicle checking. The Police apprehended A2 to A5 while transporting Ganja from Chinthapalli Village to Tuni Highway. They seized 181 kgs of Ganja along with other materials from their possession under the cover of mediators report. Consequently, a case has been registered against the accused. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the material on record. 4. The petitioners were caught while transporting 181 kgs of Ganja which is a commercial quantity. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation is not completed and charge sheet is also not filed. Earlier bail application was dismissed on 10.02.2025, there are no change of circumstances from the date of dismissal of the earlier order. In view of the 3 aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not find any grounds to consider the case of the Petitioners. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
