The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail to him in case FIR No.0085 dated 29.06.2024, registered under Sections 21, 29 of NDPS Act, 1985, at Police Station Subhanpur, District Kapurthala. 2. On advance notice, Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab has appeared on behalf of the respondent-State and on instructions from ASI Rajinder Kumar, submits that the petitioner is involved in one more criminal case i.e. FIR No. 214 dated 13.08.2017, Police Station Kotwali, District Kapurthala and since the petitioner is involved in one more case, he is not entitled to grant the relief of anticipatory bail in the present case. 3. Faced with the above statement, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition. 4. Dismissed as withdrawn.
