The instant interlocutory application has been preferred by the applicants seeking impleadment of the following party – ‘The Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Assam, Rukminigaon, Guwahati – 781006 District – Kamrup [M], Assam Represented by its Director’ - as party-respondent no. 8 in the connected writ petition, W.P.[c] no. 6031/2023. 3. The applicants as the writ petitioners have preferred the connected writ petition assailing inter-alia an action contemplated by the State respondents for eviction. 4. It is stated in this interlocutory application that the proposed party-respondent would be a necessary party to adjudicate the issues involved in the connected writ petition. 5. I have gone through the statements and averments made in the instant interlocutory application, more particularly, paragraph 4 thereof and have found that presence of the proposed party-respondent would be necessary to adjudicate the issues involved in the writ petition. As the prayer for impleadment is also not seriously opposed by the learned counsel for the opposite parties, the instant interlocutory application is accordingly allowed. Page No.# 4/4 6.
