FIR is registered against the petitioner and two others for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 506 read with Section 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Karnataka Prevention of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2004. The Police having concluded the investigation, filed charge sheet against accused Nos.1 to 3 for the aforementioned offences. 3. During the course of investigation, the Police have recorded the statements of the witnesses apart from the statement of the complainant and based on the material collected during investigation, filed the charge sheet. 4. In this petition seeking quashing, this Court while exercising its inherent jurisdiction vested under - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:49882 CRL.P No. 11272 of 2025 Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (482 of CrPC) cannot conduct a mini trial. No exceptional grounds are made out to quash the proceedings. 5. It is submitted that the matter is pending before the trial Court for hearing before charge.
