Now the petitioner proposes to visit abroad for his livelihood, but the respondent no. 3/ Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, is not processing the verification of the petitioner, despite representation having been given by the petitioner on 21.04.2025, Annexure No. 4 to the writ petition. Learned State Counsel would submit that the representation that has been given by the petitioner shall be decided within a period of six weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent no.3/ Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, that the representation made by the petitioner shall be decided within a period of six weeks by the respondent no.3/ Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, in accordance with the law/guidelines.
