Heard the parties.
4. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patratu P.S. Case No. 302/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 64(1) & 127(2) of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the Court of Sri Rohit Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ramgarh.
5. On 19.12.2024 at about 6:00 P.M., an unknown girl was heard crying for help inside a room which was locked from outside. Informant broke the door and found the victim inside. She stated that petitioner had intoxicated her and he was attempting to rape her.
6. Statement of victim recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., 2023 earlier called for, has been received. She has stated in her statement that she was having stomach pain and the petitioner had given her medicine. There was some misunderstanding that petitioner was attempting to sexually assault her.
7. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed
to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Rohit Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ramgarh or his successor in connection with Patratu P.S. Case No. 302/2024.
