ORDER 03.02.2025 The instant petition against respondent- University of Kashmir filed by the petitioner has been pending before this Court since year 2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn attention of this Court to a Notification G.S.R 471 (E) dated 2nd August 2024 issued by Department of Personnel and Training (Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions) Government of India, whereby in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 2 of section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, ten Universities of Union Territory of J&K, including the respondent-University of Kashmir have been included in the Schedule at Serial Nos. 220 to 229 Serial No. 72 Reg. List conferring the jurisdiction in terms of sub section (3) of section 14 of the Act, upon Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) with regard to such petitions. In view of aforestated Notification with regard to jurisdiction of this Court, being ousted, the writ petition on hand is ordered to be transferred to Central Administrative Tribunal, Srinagar Bench for further proceedings along with CMs, if any. Registry is directed to send the record of the petition to CAT, Srinagar, retaining a scanned copy thereof for record.
