(ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned promotion order dated 15.03.2021/06.04.2021; and issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent-Department to consider his claim for correction in the seniority list of Elementary School Headmaster and promote him to the post of High School Headmaster from the date his juniors have been promoted. 2. On the last date of hearing i.e. 01.04.2025, following order was passed:- Learned State counsel, on instructions, contends that the petitioner's grievance has been redressed as his seniority position as Elementary School Headmaster has been changed from 2059 to 1882-A, and his case will now be considered for promotion accordingly. Neelam, Superintendent O/o Director, Secondary Education, submits that after correction of seniority list, the petitioner’s case has been sent to the second respondent-Director General, Department of Secondary Education for promotion to the post of High School Headmaster. 4. In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection if the petition is being disposed of with a direction to second respondent to consider and decide the petitioner’s case for promotion within a period of two months. 5.
