This is second bail application. The first bail application was rejected vide order dated 23.05.2024. 3. In pursuance of an order passed by this Court, trial Court has submitted a status report dated 29.07.2025 that 8 prosecution witnesses have been examined and prosecution has now proposed 5 more witnesses to be examined. 4. Learned counsel for applicant submits that applicant is in jail since 02.06.2021 i.e. just more than 4 years; he further submits that there are material contradictions in statement of witnesses. 5. Aforesaid submissions are opposed by learned AGA that prosecution case is consistent and applicant’s presence is fixed at place of occurrence. 6. Considering aforesaid submissions and taking note of nature of allegations as well as nature of evidence before trial Court, this Court does not find any ground to consider present bail application. 7. Accordingly, bail application is rejected. 8. However, in case trial is not substantially progressed or concluded within 8 months from today, the applicant will be at liberty to approach this Court or trial Court along with status report.
