2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

“(i) To issue appropriate writ/writs
order/orders or direction/directions, preferably a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents in particular to respondent nos. 6 & 7, D.C.L.R., Sasaram, Rohtas and Circle Officer, Sasaram, Rohtas respectively to dispose of the petition dated 5/10/2023 of the petitioners by fixing rent in accordance with law with respect to a piece of land admeasuring to an area of 2 acres appertaining to C.S./ Khata/R.S. Khata Nos. 70/256. C.S. Plot/R.S. Plot Nos. 179/169, Revenue Tahana No. 154, lying in village-Uchitpur under Anchal-Sasaram in the District of Rohtas which has been filed under section.. of the Bihar Tenancy Act, 1885 for fixation of rent consequent upon the
judgment and decree dated 17/9/1980 and 19/11/1980 of the Additional-Sub-Judge-II, Sasaram in Title Suit No. 02 of 1972. (ii) To issue appropriate writ/writs or
order/orders or direction/directions, preferably a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to pay suitable litigation to the petitioners for having compelled them to move before the Hon'ble Court for ventilating his limited grievance of fixation of rent for a piece of land in as much as their petition dated
Patna High Court CWJC No.20973 of 2025(3) dt.27-07-2026 3/3 5/10/2023 for the said grievance is pending since long and nothing has been done till date despite more than a period of 2 years has elapsed; (iii) To issue appropriate writ/writs or
order/orders or direction/directions upon the respondent authorities directing them to grant further relief/reliefs to the petitioner as they may be entitled under the law in the attending facts and circumstances of the case to see the ends of Justice.”
3. It is unfortunate that even for the disposal of a petition (Annexure-P/5), one has to move before this Court.
4. Learned counsel for the State submits that if still not disposed of, the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Sasaram, Rohtas shall be taking the matter to its logical conclusion in next three months.
5. Accepting the words of learned State counsel to dispose of the petition within the time frame, as undertaken by him, the writ petition stands disposed of.
