ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2. Notice to respondent Nos.3 and 4 is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. The impugned order is passed by the 2nd respondent - Tahsildar invoking the powers conferred under the provisions of the Karnataka Public Premises Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants Act, 1974 (wrongly

shown as 1961). Learned High Court Government Pleader has pointed out that in terms of Section 10 an appeal remedy is available for the petitioner to approach the District Judge, having jurisdiction over the area. 3. Accepting the submission made to the learned HCGP, the writ petition stands disposed of, with the liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Judge in terms of Section 10(1) of the Act, 1974. However, the respondent authorities are directed not to precipitate the matter any further for a period of four weeks to enable the petitioner to approach the District Judge.
