Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners’ land was acquired and compensation was paid. Subsequently, the land adjacent to their land was acquired, but higher compensation was granted. He states that the petitioners are entitled to equal compensation. 3. Considering these facts, we direct the respondent authorities to treat the present petition as a representation and decide it within eight weeks from today. 4. Needless to mention, while deciding the application, the authorities shall take into consideration the existing provisions of law, including the question of limitation. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to produce a copy of this order before the authorities within two weeks from today. 6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. ( RAJNISH R.
