This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "a) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2/Nayab Tehsildar Jalalabad, Tehsil Sadar, District Kannauj to decide the restoration application dated 22.02.2024 in Case No.665/2017, Computerized Case No.T-201703394302665 (Rakesh and others Versus Ram Swaroop), Computerized Case No.T-202117140105153, u/s 34 U.P. It is contended that restoration application dated 22.02.2024 is pending in proceedings under Section 34 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 before respondent no.2- Nayab Tehsildar Jalalabad, Tehsil- Sadar, District- Kannauj. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the said restoration application may be decided expeditiously. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Nayab Tehsildar Jalalabad, Tehsil- Sadar, District- Kannauj to decide the restoration application dated 22.02.2024 pending in proceedings under Section 34 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
