This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the Case No.584 between Kasmatiya Vs. Goan Sabha under section 21/24 U.P. Revenue Code-2006 within stipulated period to which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice which is pending before him since 16.04.2025." It is contended that the proceedings under Section 21/24 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 are pending consideration before respondent no.2- Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jakhaniya, District- Ghazipur. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is to expeditiously conclude the said proceedings. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondents, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jakhaniya, District- Ghazipur to conclude the proceedings pending under Section 21/24 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 and decide the application dated 16.04.2025, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
