The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Panki P.S. Case No. 158 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 25(1)(A), 25(1-B)(a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Palamau at Daltonganj. On 23.11.2017, Panki Police apprehended co-accused persons namely Uchit Mahato and Prem Sagar Mahato from Lambi Pahadi and seized firearms from there. It was submitted that the petitioner was neither arrested at the spot, nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of co-accused persons who were apprehended at this spot. It was finally submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by different co-ordinate Bench of this Court earlier. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Palamau at Daltonganj in connection with Panki P.S.
