JUSTICE RAJESH RAI K ORAL ORDER The petitioner in this writ petition has sought for a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.3/Special Tahasildar, Bangalore North (Additional) Taluk to delete the entries made in column No.11 in RTC in respect of land measuring an extent of 10 acres in old Sy.No.40, new Sy.No.40/P2 situated at Madappanahalli Village, Hesaraghatta Hobli, Bangalore North - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44710 WP No. 53947 of 2017 (Additional) Taluk and to continue the name of petitioner in the RTC as per order dated 27.01.2016 passed by respondent No.2 in Case No.RRT(2) CR 234/1995-96 as per Annexure-E. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had purchased the subject land from one Ramaiah who was the original grantee. Subsequently, Tahasildar, Bangalore North (Additional) Taluk had initiated proceedings before the Special Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore North Sub-Division against the original grantee in case No.RRT(2) CR 234/1995-96, in order to examine the genuineness of the grant made in favour of the vendor of the petitioner. However, the Special Deputy Commissioner has passed an order to enter and continue the name of petitioner and to delete the entry made in column No.11 vide order dated 27.01.2016. Subsequently, the petitioner filed representations dated 17.02.2016 and 10.11.2017 to respondent No.3/Tahasildar to delete the entry made in column No.11 in the RTC. However, Tahasildar failed to delete the said entry. 3. Having considered the documents placed before me and the order passed at Annexure-E i.e., Case No.RRT(2) CR - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44710 WP No. 53947 of 2017 234/1995-96, I am of the considered view that the prayer of the petitioner in this writ petition requires to be granted. Accordingly, the writ of mandamus issued against respondent No.3/Special Tahasildar, directing him to delete the entry made in column No.11 in the RTC pertaining to subject land i.e., land measuring 10 acres in old Sy.No.40, new Sy.No.40/P2 and continue the name of petitioner, within an outer limit of ten weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
