Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS D/14 WPMS No.1584 of 2025 Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J. Mr. Amar Murti Shukla, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Mahendra Singh Bisht, Brief Holder for the State/respondent nos.1 to 3. It is the case of the petitioner that for Char Dham Yatra a Sanyunkt Rotation Yatra Vyavastha Samiti (“the Samiti”)/ respondent no.4 has been constituted, which takes buses from different companies and they were deployed for Char Dham Yatra on rotation basis. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the Samiti is not sending the vehicles on rotation and charging high fair from the pilgrims. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in order to smooth convenience of Char Dham Yatra, a Samiti has been constituted by the Government of Uttarakhand; the Samiti hires buses from different companies and they are deployed on rotation basis. But, it is argued that the Samiti is not deploying buses on rotation basis instead buses are deployed as per their choice. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a representation has already been made to the respondent no.2/the Transport Commissioner, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun in the year 2024, but no decision has yet been taken. He seeks liberty to file a fresh representation to the respondent no.2/the Transport Commissioner, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun with the directions to the respondent no.2/the Transport Commissioner, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun to take a decision on it within a stipulated time. Learned State counsel would submit that the respondent no.2/the Transport Commissioner, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun would take a decision on the representation that may be filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent no.2/the Transport Commissioner, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun within a period of one week with further direction to the respondent no.2/the Transport Commissioner, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun to take a decision on it within a period of next four weeks.
