Heard Shri Ikram Ahmad, learned Advocate appearing for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has sought to challenge the show cause notice dated 04.12.2024 whereby he has only been directed to furnish explanation about an overwriting on an affidavit in which only 50% claim was directed to be given to the other brother whereas complainant states that original notarized affidavit only contained that job be given to one brother and retirement dues shall be given to other brother. 3. In my considered view since petitioner has already submitted his reply to the show cause notice, the Executive Engineer is directed to look into the reply submitted by petitioner on 02.12.2023 and pass appropriate order after giving full opportunity of hearing to him as well as brother of the deceased with whom the dispute has arisen regarding payment of gratuity amount. 4. Appropriate decision shall be taken by the authority within a period of one month from the production of certified copy of this order. 5. This writ petition, thus, stands disposed of.
