The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with the prayer for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the same honorarium which is admissible to the retrenched and unadjusted employees of Haryana State Minor Irrigation and Tube Well Corporation w.e.f. 01.10.2020 as per Letter No.10/18/2020 6IW[Annexure P-2] dated 23.12.2024. 2. Notice of motion. 3. Mr. Piyush Khanna, AAG, Haryana, appears on behalf of the respondents and waives service. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner shall be satisfied, if, at this stage, a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to CWP-18477-2025 -2- decide the representation dated 02.01.2025 [Annexure P-5], within a time bound manner. 5. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, learned counsel for the respondents, does not oppose the same. 6. In view thereof, without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 02.01.2025 [Annexure P-5] within 8 weeks from the receipt of the certified copy of this order. 7. Needless to say that the representation shall be decided after giving a due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and by passing a detailed and reasoned order. 8.
