Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo for disposal stating that, in view of the interim order dated 17.06.2025 passed by this Court, the Government of Karnataka has extended the second term of the petitioner as a Member of the District Consumer Redressal Commission on 25.06.2025 and a copy of the notification extending the term/tenure of the petitioner (Sl.No.1 in the notification) for a period of the completion of the said recruitment process or until further orders, which is enclosed along with the memo.

2. He submits that, in view of the notification dated 25.08.2025, nothing further survives for
consideration in this writ petition, and accordingly, prays to dispose of the writ petition.
3. In view of the notification dated 25.08.2025, the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
