Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:118584 Court No. - 77 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 21776 of 2025 Petitioner :- Sristhi Singh And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Other Counsel for Petitioner :- Dr. Vishnu Pandey Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Saurabh Srivastava,J. 1. Heard Mr. Vishnu Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The instant petition has been preferred on the apprehension that some ill will may be caused by parents of petitioner no.1 (wife) in future since one dinner has been organized by parents of the wife in which only the wife who was invited by her perents not petitioner no.2. Being the married couple, it was presumed by husband/ petitioner no.2 that he should have been invited by his in laws. 3. The dinner was organized in view of marriage only. This is the only basis for protection created in mind of petitioners that still even after the compromise, the parents of petitioner no.1 are having some grudges in their intention and as such, some protection may be required for protecting the life and liberty of the married couple. 4. Learned Standing Counsel also submitted that the protection may be extended in favour of the petitioners. 5. After having submission extended by learned counsel for the parties, this Court does not find any ground for extension of protection in favour of the couple that has been sought only on the apprehension and presumption. It is the dinner party which has been organized in view of the marriage but the husband was not invited. The circumstances whatsoever are having in the mind of the parents of wife, cannot be presumed only on the negative side. There might be a ritual which may not permit the husband to enter into some marriage party which has been organized by his in-laws and as such both the aspects have to be borne in mind at the time of considering the prayer as made in the instant petition. The writ petition lacks merits and is accordingly, dismissed. Order Date :- 18.7.2025 AS Digitally signed by :- ABHISHEK SINGH High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
