The petitioner seeks compassionate appointment after the death of her mother. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the claim of the petitioner has been denied on the ground that she is a married daughter, but now, there is change in the law, and even married daughter is entitled to compassionate appointment. He would submit that the petitioner may be given liberty to make a representation to the respondent authorities and the respondent authorities may be directed to decide the representation made by the petitioner within a stipulated time. Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 4 would submit that in case the petitioner gives a representation, it shall be decided within a period of two weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 4. The writ petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondent authorities.
