JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioners that the Land Grant Committee took a decision and passed a resolution on 18.11.2011 to grant land of 4 acres each to the petitioners in Survey No.35 of Kotta Village, Kasaba Hobli, Sira Taluk. However, the Tahsildar has not issued saguvali chit and has not entered the names of the petitioners in the revenue records. The petitioners have also submitted representations to the Tahsildar dated 01.02.2019. However, the same has also not been considered till date. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 – Tahasildar, Sira Taluk to consider the representations given by the petitioners at Annexures-E and F dated 01.02.2019 to verify from the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33918 WP No. 8413 of 2025 records and find out whether the lands was indeed granted to the petitioners. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of the petitioners, the Tahsildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit and enter their names in the land records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali chit. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. If no such resolution is passed and the applications of the petitioners are still pending consideration, then the respondent-Tahsildar shall place the applications of the petitioners along with his recommendation before the committee within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. Thereafter, the Committee shall take a decision within a period of two months from the date on which the Tahsildar submits his recommendation in regard to the case of the petitioners. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33918 WP No. 8413 of 2025 5.
