This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 i.e. the Up-Ziladhikari, Salempur, Deoria to ensure the compliance of the order of demarcation by directing the Revenue Authorities to carry out demarcation of the land in dispute on the basis of the revenue records produced before him, within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court." It is contended that the demarcation order has been passed, but till date the same has not been complied with. Number of applications were moved by petitioner in this regard, last one was moved on 17.04.2025, but order of the demarcation has not been carried out. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon authority concerned to ensure the compliance of the order of demarcation, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
