Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned State Counsel and learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 & 3. 2. The petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- “a. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing Respondent No. 2 to extend the final date to fill the online form for the Uttarakhand Judicial Service Civil Judge (Junior Division) Exam-2023 advertised via Advertisement 2025:UHC:4799-DB 2 Number:- 04/E-2/DR/Civil Judge/2024-25 from the 5th of June, 2025 to such an appropriate date that is just, fair, reasonable to all law students graduating in 2025 so as to enable them to appear for the said examination before the 3 years’ practice at the Bar rule comes into effect.” 3. From a reading of the above relief sought for, it is apparent that the petitioner has missed the bus and has not filled the application form before the last date stipulated. The reason being that the petitioner was not eligible as on the specified date. 4. In that view of the matter, the relief sought for cannot be granted. Accordingly, petition stands rejected. 5. The rejection of the petition would not come in the way of the petitioner participating in future processes that may be notified by the competent authority. (G. NARENDAR, C. J.) (ALOK MAHRA, J.)
