By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner has questioned the order of transfer dated 15.06.2025 whereby he has been transferred from Varanasi Commissionerate to Agra Commissionerate cancelling the earlier transfer order for transfer to Gorakhpur zone passed on 19.06.2024 and the grievance is for the reason that pursuant to the earlier order of transfer dated 30.04.2024, petitioner stood relieved on 18.06.2025 and when he reported for joining at Gorakhpur on 25.06.2025, he was informed that his earlier transfer order of 2024 got superseded with the fresh transfer order passed on 15.06.2025. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been made to run from pillar to post, however, at the same time he is not averse to joining pursuant to the transfer order dated 15.06.2025. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the matter can be directed to be disposed of with order to the Police Commissioner, Varanasi to issue fresh releiving order in favour of the petitioner, pursuant to the transfer order dated 15.06.2025 within a stipulate period of time. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the Police Commissioner, Varanasi to issue fresh relieving order in favour of the petitioner, pursuant to the transfer order dated 15.06.2025 within a weeks' time from the date of production of certified copy of this order and the petitioner should report within a week thereaftrer at Agra. 6. It is further provided that in the event petitioner is relieved as directed hereinabove, he shall be submitting his joining within a week at Agra.
