JUSTICE B M SHYAM PRASAD ORAL ORDER The petitioner has filed this petition for directions to the respondent, Regional Office, Passport Seva Kendra, Bengaluru to consider his representation. Sri H Shanthi Bhushan, a learned Deputy Solicitor General for the respondent, submits that the respondent has called for the permission that must be granted by the concerned Sessions Court in view - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30074 WP No. 626 of 2025 of the proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.163/2019 with the R T Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru City, but in terms of the Guidelines notified in No.G.S.R. 570(E) dated 25.08.1993, it would be incumbent upon the petitioner to file an application in the pending criminal proceedings and then make an application with the respondent.
