J. Khataniar, learned counsel has placed on record an order dated 21.06.2025 issued by the Director of Elementary Education, Assam, rejecting the claim of the petitioner for provincialization of their services in pursuance to the directions passed by this Court vide order dated 20.11.2024 in WP(C).No.3633/2024. On perusal of the order dated 21.06.2025, this Court is of the considered view that the directions passed vide the said order has been substantially complied with. Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed. The notices issued stands recalled. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to assail the order dated 21.06.2025, in accordance with law.
