No. 762 of 2025 __________ Page2 of 4 Prayer : Writ Petition (Criminal) filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent and the 4th Respondent to remove all the illegal hoardings, placards, flex boards and banners that are erected in front of the premises of the petitioner and consequently to direct the 2nd respondent and the 4th Respondent to ensure that in future no hoardings, placards, flex boards and banners are to be erected infront of the premises of the petitioner without proper permission from the District Collector, the first respondent herein. The learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted the all such illegal hoardings, placards, flex boards and banners have now been removed. 3. Therefore, the respondents must ensure that no political party is allowed to erect party poles, boards, flex boards or banners in the public place that obstruct the ingress and egress to any individual’s property.
