1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).
2. This is a bail application U/S.483 of BNS by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Keonjhar Town PS Case No.246 of 2025 corresponding to S.T. Case No.110 of 2025 (G.R. CAse No.656 of 2025) pending in the file of learned Sessions Judge, Keonjhar, for commission of offences punishable U/Ss.310(2) of BNS on the allegation of snatching away a bag containing gold from the informant by assaulting his head with hockey stick, along with co-accused persons.
3. Heard Mr. B.Mahapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P.Satapathy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor in the present matter and perused the record.
4. After having considered rival submissions and taking into account the nature and gravity of the offences as alleged vis-à-vis the accusation sought to be brought
against the petitioners and regard being had the pre- trial detention of the petitioner in custody since 08.05.2025 with submission of charge-sheet in the meantime and taking into account the F.I.R. being lodged against unknown persons and keeping in view the right of the accused to be presumed innocent until proven guilty at the trial, this Court without expressing any view on merits admits the petitioner to bail.

Hence, the bail application of the petitioner stands allowed and the petitioner is allowed to go on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only with one solvent surety each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court in seisin of the case on such terms and conditions as deem fit and proper by it with further condition that he shall appear before the I.I.C. of the concerned Police Station once in a fortnight preferably on Sunday for three months.
6. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
7. Issue urgent certified copy of the order as per Rules.
