(2025:JHHC:25951) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 2201 of 2025 Sandeep Pal, aged about 27 years, S/o Surendra Pal, resident of Gaunar Khas, Pokhara Tola, P.O. + P.S.- Chaunchaura, District- Gorakhpur (U.P.) … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mrs. Rashmi Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Bishambhar Shastri, A.P.P. --- 06/28.08.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No.146 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 137(2)/87/64 of the B.N.S, 2023 and Section 4 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge (POCSO Act), Koderma. The petitioner along with victim and her sister had gone to the work place of the petitioner at Vishakhapatnam willingly. She also went to Delhi with this petitioner. It is alleged that they also have established physical relationship. Age of the victim has been opined to be 17 years. This appears to be a case of adolescent love affairs between the parties. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge (POCSO Act), Koderma, in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No.146 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
