JUDGMENT
Petitioner has filed the captioned writ petition stating that he is a visually challenged person with 50% disability and was attacked by the 4th respondent herein on account of which an offence was registered against the 4th respondent, as evidenced by Ext.P4. Therefore, the petitioner has sought for police protection by filing an appropriate application before the 3rd respondent herein as against the 4th respondent herein. It is pointing out that the protection is not being extended, the captioned writ petition is filed by the petitioner.
2. I have heard Sri.Rajesh Sivaramankutty Nair,
learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.T.Jayan, learned Government Pleader.
3. On 01.06.2023, while admitting the writ petition, this Court had permitted the petitioner to make a complaint, if there is any physical assault, with the 3rd respondent herein and further directing the 3rd respondent to make an

2025:KER:26984 appropriate enquiry and to provide necessary protection in the matter.
4. Sri.T.Jayan, learned Government Pleader, would point out to a communication that he had received from the 3rd respondent herein pointing out that required steps are being taken in the matter.
