Joint memo is filed and it is jointly signed by the petitioner, respondent and their respective counsels. 3. As per the terms of joint memo, the matter is settled for Rs.1,60,000/- including the amount of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:28509 CRL.RP No. 1016 of 2022 Rs.80,000/- deposited by the petitioner before the trial Court. 4. The petitioner has no objection for respondent withdrawing Rs.80,000/- deposited by him before the trial Court. 5. The petitioner is paying Rs.40,000/- by way of cash to respondent and the respondent reports receipt of Rs.40,000/-. 6. The petitioner undertakes to pay balance amount of Rs.40,000/- within one month from this day. 7. If the petitioner fails to pay the balance amount within one month, the trial Court judgment will revive. 8. In view of the above settlement, the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act is compounded. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:28509 CRL.RP No. 1016 of 2022 9. In view of the compounding, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of as offence is compounded. 10. The respondent shall furnish his bank account details, so as to enable the trial Court to transfer the amount deposited by the petitioner directly to bank account of the respondent. 11.
