CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRADEEP SINGH YERUR
ORAL ORDER
This petition is filed by the petitioner-plaintiff seeking direction to V Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru to expedite the proceedings in O.S.Nos.342/2021 and 423/2022.
2. The respondent is none other than the husband of the petitioner and by virtue of a divorce, their marriage is dissolved.
3. This Court is not inclined to issue notice to the respondent, as no adverse orders are passed against the respondent and no relief is sought against the respondent. The only relief sought by the petitioner in this case is for expeditious disposal of the suits.
4. The petitioner-plaintiff has initiated two suits; one for the relief of permanent injunction and the other for

cancellation of a registered General Power of Attorney forcibly fraudulently obtained by the respondent- defendant.
5. It is the contention of the learned counsel for petitioner-plaintiff that despite filing of the first suit in the year 2021 and second suit in the year 2022, the respondent-defendant has been protracting and prolonging the matter for one reason or another. Therefore, the short prayer that is made by the petitioner-plaintiff is to expedite the proceedings before the trial Court in both cases as mentioned hereinabove.
6. It is seen that the suits filed before the trial Court are almost four years old. Under the circumstances, the suits are required to be disposed of expeditiously.
7. Accordingly, I pass the following:
ORDER i. This petition is allowed;
