It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the State Government losing its claim in respect of lands in question i.e., acres in Sy.No.4(P-91) of Kurubarahalli Village, Kasaba Hobli, Mysuru Taluk and District, right up to the Hon’ble Supreme Court as found in Annexure-G where the S.L.P filed by the State Government was dismissed, the name of the petitioner has not been restored in the RTC. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38403 WP No. 28967 of 2025 3. Learned AGA submits on instructions that the Deputy Commissioner has initiated proceedings to ensure restoring the revenue entries as they were during 2014 and 2015. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the year 2014-15 the name of the petitioner’s mother was in the RTC and therefore, if the name of the petitioner’s mother is restored, the petitioner may be permitted to file necessary application to seek entry of her name on the grounds of succession. 5. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Tahasildar, Mysuru Taluk and the Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru District to ensure the revenue entries are restored as they were in the year 2014-15, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of 6 weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to file an application thereafter giving complete details of the legal heirs of Smt.Rooh Afza and the Tahasildar shall - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38403 WP No. 28967 of 2025 consider such application in accordance with law and pass necessary orders to enter the names of the legal heirs of Smt.Rooh Afza in the RTC. 6.
