JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: “a) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 29.10.2024, produced at Annexure “K1 to K3.” b) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondents to immediately rectify the compensation awarded to the petitioner, acknowledging that the land acquired was wet land, and ensuring that the petitioner is paid compensation at the rate of Rs.40,720/- per gunta for the wet lands acquired. c) Direct the respondents to compensate the petitioner in accordance with the true nature of the land as reflected in the RTC extract, along with interest from the date of deposit of compensation until payment. d) Pass such other order/s as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice and equity.” - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:31015 WP No. 20026 of 2025 2. The petitioner has submitted a representation seeking rectification of the compensation amount that was determined in her favour. 3. The learned High Court Government Pleader would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the representation would be considered on its merit and appropriate orders would be passed. 4. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with a direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 to consider the representation in accordance with law and communicate the decision so taken to the petitioner within three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
