It is the contention of the petitioner that he was granted 1 acre 15 guntas of land in Survey No.21 of Mantha Kadirenahalli Village, Ambajidurga Hobli, Chintamani Taluk, Chikkabballapur District, at the hands of the Committee for regularization of unauthorised occupation. Pursuant to which, the petitioner has also deposited the premium as directed, in the year 1995. However, saguvali chit has not been issued in favour of the petitioner and revenue entries have not been made.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his application filed in Form No.50 seeking regularization of unauthorised occupation of 1 acre 15 guntas of land. However, Saguvali chit was not issued in favour of the petitioner, although he paid the kimmat, pursuant to the notice issued at Annexure-C.

The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 – Tahasildar, Chintamani Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexure-D dated 17.06.2025, verify from the records and find out whether Sri.Venkatareddy was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Sri.Venkatareddy, the Tahasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit and enter his name in the land records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali chit. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of
